DFA & Quality Control

IN-HOUSE DFA SERVICES

At Grower Direct Nut we have an in-house Department of Food and Agriculture of California office that is always on hand to take random representative samples from finished product and perform a quality inspection. After passing this meticulous process the product is then released with the DFA stamp of approval.

IN-HOUSE QUALITY CONTROL & LAB

Along with our DFA office, we have our own Quality Control department. QC takes random product samples and brings them to our innovative lab where they complete physical testingenvironmental testing, microbiology testing, and chemistry testing to ensure a thoroughly clean and safe product to consume. These tests are for internal quality purposes as well as customer specification purposes.

The main focus for chemical testing is moisture levels. We are also are able to test for Free Fatty Acids (FFA), Peroxide Value (PV), and Aflatoxins upon request.
